So You Want to make money Blogging,but where do you Start

The first thing you can do is to open a google account. Go to Google.com After you have done that you can go to Blogger.com,you will enter your google email address and password.

Now you can start blogging.Some people blog about their hobbies or families,whatever they are interested in. You can also do "content niche" blogs. That is what we are going to do here.

Write your first blog as a Review Blog. You may want to say that you are looking to provide reviews on various products such as,fashion,beauty,electronics,books,computers,technology,and more.Give your blog a title,something that has the word review in it.

When you have picked your title and url you will be sent on to a page that will give you templates you can use. You can choose any one,as you are able to change it after easily. Click on the button to continue,now you can start blogging.

When you start to write you will see there are two tabs above where you are to write. One says edit and the other says compose.You will use compose to put in your written text and edit when your adding advertisers links that are in hotmail format.

So you have composed your blog.You need to insert a meta tag. I suggest you go to http://www.uk-cheapest.co.uk/meta-tag-generator.php,where you can fill in some info about your blog and generate a meta tag.

Once you have the meta tag,make sure you copy the whole tag.Now flip back over to your blog.At the bottom of where you were writing are two buttons. One says publish and the other says save as draft. Choose save as draft. Then look to the top of the page.Here you see the buttons that say,posting,settings,layout and monetize.

Click on the button that says layout.Now you have a new page and here you will click on the tab under layout that says Edit HTML. When you do that you will see a bunch of HTML,look about nine lines down to the word title.

Insert your cursor at the very end after the word title and the > sign,hit enter,which takes you down a line,now use control "v" to insert your meta tag,that you copied.

Go off to the side of the page scroll down a bit and hit save template. If you do not hit save template,you have done nothing.

Now you can do a few things here. First go to page elements and click on it. You can see the page layout for your template. You can add gadgets here by clicking on the box that says add gadget.You have many to choose from,but we will start with adsense.You will see it when the box opens,click on it,you can edit the size,choose colors,basically if it is at the side of your page you want it long and narrow like the one they show. Hit save. If you click on gadgets at the top or bottom of your page you will want to choose a full or half banner size,so change it before saving. Google will adjust content and color to your blog.You do not have to worry about it.

If you want to choose and preview other templates,you can do that to. Click on pick a new template,and it is pretty easy. Just remember to save if you choose a new one.

Go back up to the button called Posting and click on it.Next click on the tab below it that says edit posts.Here you will see your post,check the box to the left of it. Now hit Publish selected and you are done.You can go view your blog.

There are a few important steps to do here.One register the blog with Webmaster. To do that put this www.google.com/webmasters/tools/ in your address bar.You will want to sign in and get a account. Once done you click on add a site. Highlight the url of your site and paste it in here.Hit add site.They will provide you with a verification code,you must high light the entire code,tab back over to your blog,go to layout,edit HTML where you put in your meta tag,beside the word head,which you should see there,paste in your code.Do not forget to SAVE TEMPLATE. Now tab back to webmaster and click on Verify Site,that is under the code you just high lighted. This should verify your site.On the same page of the verification that you got,scroll down a bit and click on submit a sitemap.It will automatically put the url in and you have to add the sitemap.Type in atom.xml. You will repeat this procedure with every blog you create.
